Just few moment back, i thought, i should write something, although i am totally unaware of the actual thought in my mind, it’s just some incomplete picture. Let me make some concrete shape out of it.
I was just thinking, where we would be 20 year down the line. What would be the face of technology, how will it impact us (technocrats) and common man. To be more precise, what would be the major consumer needs, where we can invest our present, so that we can have good return in future.
Some of the areas in my minds are:
1) Energy sector (Traditional means of energy may exhaust, oil/coal etc)
2) Water management
3) Food security (Some tool or automatic computerized system to improve actual yield from agricultural lands etc)
4) Weather forecasting, flood, rescue management etc. because i guess natural clematis going to be more than ever before. We have to have some solid system in place to deal with it.
5) Robotics and AI
So the question is: Is there any way by which we can put our technical skills and make some break through out of it.
Well, some other more common area could be:
1) Virtual office
2) Online matrimonial services(Trend will further boost up, as in future traditional system are going to break, finding suitable partner will going to be even more tough. So I guess its going to be a big business)
3) Online entertainment & dating sites. (No porn please, I am not talking about porn. But I guess people will get to feel more lonely in future, they need some good way of making there life full of amazement, nobody like to get feel bore)
4) Online crime going to be more frequent and challenging. So to handle them we need some sort of social profiling/auditing to control crime. (By statical analysis of internet footprints). I guess government will require these soft wares.
5) More touch and feel computer systems
6) Robotics in obvious sense, but this is in itself a huge field, i can't just imagine, in the process of making human out of machine, the transformation process itself take huge amount research and every piece of research in itself will consist of lot of opportunities.
Ohh, why i am talking big and tough things, thank god India is still not that much computerized, ample opportunity is available.
Lets me list down few opportunity, what is just coming into my mind
1) Software for retail sector. We have million+ shops in India, hardly computerized.
2) Supply chain management
3) Education/Training
4) Out sourcing for mid and small organization.
Now i guess it tough for small organization to outsource; only big organizations are able to outsource and cut the cost. If some automatic system for BPO can be placed, I guess it will benefit small and mid size customers a lot.
For example: ebay provide online platform for sell-purchase of goods. I am talking about sell-purchase of services, to be more precise authenticated software services.
Well, i think we can also learn from the past as well, do some failed idea of past make sense in present? Or there is anything good in past that we miss and technology can surface that. I guess we all can think about it?

Animal Farm
Many thanks to heera for giving soft copy of such a nice book "Animal Farm". It is a best book of its kind that I have ever read. The writer has however written the book in the context of Russian revolution. But it fits greatly to everything around us like politics, corporate and even our society. Its just reflect the way we are.
The best part is that writer has not taken any name explicitly. He has given a wonderful analogy using Animal and the society of Animals. After reading this book, i have started wondering, What I am doing ? and for what i am doing ? and above all for whom i am doing ? Do hard work ever pay ? I always believe to be non political and keep my self away from politics whether its my home/family, office or friend circle. But now I am totally confused. But one thing is sure that this book made me think a lot. And I think this single book is going to help me a lot to shape my thinking process covering broader horizon. Well, i must agree that first 2-3 days after reading this books gone totally weird specially after reading the fate of horse (A very hardworking animal projected in a book) and the reason of this was his absolute faith on his corrupt handler. So the best learning from the book is "Absolute faith corrupt and its corrupt absolutely".
Well, thanks to God, I got gyan, and that is what i want to share with you all and this is the purpose of writing this blog. After reading the book i have realized that how much truth was there in a book. It always says Absolute faith corrupt and i realized that even absolute faith on this book will surely corrupt me. Read the last line again, this is the crux. Gyan kaam aaaya, "Absolute faith corrupts".
I guess, now i should quickly summarize my learning from this book:
1) Do not have absolute faith on any thing, put your reasoning and facts for any decision making
2) In work/job, You should always know 3 things for sure
2.1) for whom you are working (who will benefit from your work)
2.2) what is the objective behind your work ?
2.3) why are you working ?
This is all for today. You guys/girls can revert me if you need that mind blowing book.
Note: 6 thinking hats is a very nice book to learn about decision making.

Success, Failure & Happiness
Although i always resist to accept that there is any relation between happiness and success/failure. I always use to believe that its a person nature to be happy or not-happy. It has nothing to do with success or failure. But from quite some time i had started noticing that perhaps i am wrong. Happiness has to do with success and failure.
I think success is the level of satisfaction with respect to:
1) Physical
2) Mental
3) Financial
4) Emotional
5) Religious and Spiritual
I guess, if we satisfy at all 5 above mention point, we would be satisfied. And the is degree of satisfaction/dissatisfaction will determine the level of success or failure.
But i am still confuse about this new observation which just came into my mind. Will satisfaction on above mentioned 5 point will keep person happy forever ? As of now its seems "YES" ....

Spirituality (Part 2)
So, what is spirituality?
Here I go :), well, my definition of spirituality is not sanyas or anything which shift you from you responsibilities or your dreams. Its like fulfilling all your responsibilities and dreams and still be very happy. Its sound controversial but it is not. Spirituality is actually the state of mind, where one has proud of his/her deeds, has no regret of whatever he did. Always have smile on face and his/her mind rest in a peace. Well, now a days if person is happy and satisfied then people start wondering if he/she has no dream, he/she dont want to move forward in life. Lot of earning and having lot of associated tension becomes the definition of success. But is this right ? Here by being spiritual i meant to say that whatever person do may be during his/her course of action (job etc), he should always have respect for himself/herself. It will only come if he/she knew that he/she has created lot of value during that course of action. Otherwise person won't feel good, even after working very hard, taking so many tensions.
Further, I said spirituality is not religion but i think vice-versa should be true. Spirituality does not have extremism, while religion may have. Although there is lot of common things like both focus on being a better human being. But extremism in religion some time neglects this part. Anyway as I said I believe "Person need not to be religious to be a spiritual but I must say person should be spiritual to be religious." If you mix both religion and spirituality, the wonderful result will came out.
As I said earlier (one more back reference to my earlier post), religion is like hired wired (physical circuit), it anyway always remains with the person, but if spirituality gets added to it (like application software) you can really get huge advantage of under lying hardware (religion in this case).
So what the person should do to become spiritual. Well, I think specially person need not to do anything expect trying to develop some good habits, Soon these habit will become part of person's personality. Then happiness will become a integral part of person’s nature and quality of life automatically get improved. Isn’t simple? Wish all of you “Good Luck”.......
